Their triumph, our motivation

Sat 30 Nov, 1.30-5pm, Adelaide

Join us to celebrate 125 years of women’s suffrage in South Australia with Clare Wright, Denise George and others.

December 2019 marks the 125th anniversary of landmark legislation that enabled women in SA – for the first time anywhere in Australia – to vote in general elections, and to stand as members of Parliament. This incredible achievement was the end result of years of campaigning and lobbying by men and women in the South Australian community that put their passion into action.

Join us for our first FWF event in South Australia to commemorate this achievement, and discuss what democracy and feminism mean today.

Event details soon, sign up to our newsletter to find out first.
